Scott was very focused on catching fish and enjoyed helping us bring them in. He is also a wealth of Campbell River knowledge and has been running a charter business for another company for a few years, so don’t be fooled by his lack of reviews( he used to be Full Scale fishing-check out the reviews there)
Always a pleasure and we will look forward to a full week of fishing next year.

star rating  Scott was awesome! He picked us up at the dock we were staying on Quadra Island to save us the ferry ride over to Campbell River. The boat was comfortable... read more with all the amenities we needed. All of the fishing gear was provided along with coaching for those less experienced. Scott was friendly and knowledgeable. The time spent between reeling in the fish was filled with good conversations. The highlight of the trip was catching the first salmon. We were reeling in two fish on separate lines when the lines crossed and my line with a large salmon on the hook was cut. We continued to reel in the other line only to find a dogfish which was released. We circled back to look for the lure floating in the water. To our surprise, the salmon was still on the line. We pulled it in by hand and it turned out to be a 25 pound salmon! If you are in the Campbell River area and looking to book a great fishing adventure look no further. I fully recommend Scott and Riptide.

My nephew and I had a great day fishing with Scott. The boat and fishing gear were clean and in as-new shape. Scott was on top of everything on a busy day. Lots of fish on the line, he was often dealing with us each having a fish on at the same time. Op 9 augustus 2022 zijn wij (koppel uit Nederland) wezen vissen met Scott. Wat een relaxte gast! Hij is geinteresseerd in zijn gasten en is ook open over zichzelf. Een man van normen en waarden, zeer respectvol. Ook vertelt hij meer dan alleen hoe je moet vissen, ook de strategie erachter. Mijn partner vist ook graag in Nederland, dus ze hadden veel te praten, maar mij vergat hij zeker niet! Ook moedigt hij je aan zodra je beet hebt. Een dikke vette 10 voor Scott! My husband and I are from Alberta and came to visit cousins Geoff and Shannon Orlick.  They took us on this tour and WOW is all I can say!!!  Scott was an awesome host.  My husband was able to scratch salmon fishing off of his bucket list.  The whale watching was fantastic and the swim was even better.  Thanks so much and will tell everyone about you!!! My husband & I went out with Capt Scott and had a great time! We got our limit in Salmon within an hour; we also saw sea lions, seals,  otters, humpback whales, porpoises, and a helicopter landing on a yatch! Scott’s boat is clean & well kept & he is a pleasure to be around; very knowledgeable. Although my husband did catch the biggest fish; I caught more lol. Scott was awesome, very personable and knowledgeable. He took us out for five hours, and we managed 4 keeper salmon, and quite a few that were just undersized. The boat and equipment were top quality and Scott knew all the hot spots.

Great day of fishing today.  Scott is an awesome captain, clean boat and let us be involved in the process as much as we wanted. We had a lot of action and limited out on the salmon. There were  whales breaching and incredible sunrise.   Highly recommended.
